Coworking

Coworking in the Ruhr

Our latest project is the Collective.ruhr Coworking Space on Rüttenscheider Straße 120 in the centre of Essen. We’re developing this modern way of working for freelancers, start-ups as well as established companies in cooperation with Miriam Engelbert and Alexander Hnatyk, the founders of Surfcamp und owners of LVM-Versicherungsagentur Hnatyk GmbH.

We offer workspaces for up to 70 people in an area of around 800m². Be it individual offices, the large Open Space, the cosy common kitchen or the large roof terrace – Collective.ruhr has it all, which makes working more pleasurable. In our Coworking Space, networking and swapping ideas is absolutely encouraged!

In the Offices, you can work by yourself or with up to five colleagues. In the Open Space, you can choose between a fixed or a flexible workspace. For meetings, customer consultations or events, you  can book rooms with space for up to 8, 20 or 40 participants. In August 2019, we opened our largest conference rooms in the penthouse of the building. A unique location in the middle of Rüttenscheid in Essen, which lends itself to creative work just as much as to talks, company presentations or your business event.

1a Location

The Collective.ruhr Coworking Space is right in the middle of Rüttenscheid, which means it’s right in the middle of what’s going on. The closest tram and underground stop is only 100m away which takes you right to Essen main train station. You can park at any of the car parks around or on Rüttenscheider Straße.

Facilities

Working can be so stylish: our offices have a studio atmosphere and are absolutely modern and completely chic. Meeting zones are interspersed with individual work spaces so that there’s something for every way of working. But above all, we’ve made it look really good, with clean lines, elegant fabrics, lounges and genuine wood – so there’s no need to knock off work too quickly.

Health

But we don’t just offer coworkers a really stylish workspace in Essen. There’s water, coffee and fruit to make sure morale doesn’t flag at the office. And our roof terrace for chilling and barbecuing is a fantastic dose of motivation and a social platform all in one.

Networking

In the Coworking Space, creative types bump into innovators, lone-rangers with start-up teams. Swapping ideas and networking are among the many benefits of this new form of working. We offer all co-workers lots of chance to interact, such as at in-house concerts and presentations.
